Passive and non-profit residence

• Living at least 90 days a year in Andorra
• Obtain extract of criminal record from the country of residence and origin
• Proof of sufficient financial means for upkeep of owner and the people working for him
• Pass a medical check-up by the Andorra Department of Immigration
• Non-compensated deposit to Andorran competent authorities of 50,000 euros
• Non-compensated deposit of an additional 10,000 euros per person for whom owner is responsible
• Document proving purchase or rental of a property in Andorra
• Investment of 350,000 euros, in one of these headings:
  • Participation in capital stock or equity of companies that are residents of Andorra
  • Debt or financial instruments issued by entities that are residents of Andorra
  • Real estate located in Andorra
• Receipts of disability, retirement and health insurance.
• Private medical insurance
• Civil status certificate and passport

This residence permit must be renewed after two years. It can subsequently be renewed for a further two years, followed by a three year extension. After the seventh year of residence, you will receive a renewal for 10 consecutive years.
