- In what order is all this done?
- First the foreign investment, then the company and finally the residence. Doing it the other way round is the most expensive mistake we see: it means redoing steps you have already paid for.
- Do I have to be a director of the company?
- On this route, yes. Your residence rests on your activity as director of an Andorran company with real activity.
- How long does the foreign investment authorisation take?
- It is the least predictable step and it determines all the others. We do not give a fixed timeframe because it does not depend on us; we do tell you where the file stands at every stage.
- Does the company need real activity?
- Yes, and this is the most underestimated point. This residence rests on effective economic activity in Andorra: an empty company will not support it at the grant stage nor, above all, at renewal.
